For over 40 years, Bright Beginnings Preschool has helped prepare 3 year olds, 4 year olds, and 5 year olds for kindergarten success through excellent instruction, curriculum, and group play.
Each year, Bright Beginnings staff help lay a foundation for the long-term academic success of up to 40 children. Your child will be introduced to learning and activities structured around ZooPhonics and creative STEM stations that give your child a hands on approach to learning.
Research shows that children who are prepared for kindergarten are more successful throughout their academic careers. We are excited and honored to help lay the foundation to a BRIGHT future!

We offer two classes at Bright Beginnings. Our Seedlings class is offered to 3 and 4 year old. Our Sprouts class is offered to 4 and 5 year old.

Meet your Teachers
Miss Tiffany
Lead Teacher
Hello, my name is Tiffany Darnold. I grew up here in Colville, attended Bright Beginnings as a preschooler and graduated from CHS as a 12 year senior. I attended Eastern Washington University, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and a minor in Special Education, My husband Steve and I have lived in Colville for 21 years with our twin 20 year old daughters, Adysen and Bayleigh, who have headed off to college and our 16 year old son, Parker, who will be a freshman this year at Colville High School. I absolutely love working with kids and as an educator. It is a wonderful opportunity to introduce kiddos to their first school experiences and create a love of learning. When I am not working at school you can find me trying to keep up with my family and our busy schedule of attending sporting events, working on our home/farm, spending time and taking care of our pets (dogs, cats, and fish). I am looking forward to a wonderful new year!
Miss Denise
Assistant Teacher
Hi my name is Denise Walker. I have been with Bright Beginnings for 20 years as a Teacher Assistant. I've lived in the beautiful mountains of Colville for the past 30 years, originally from Illinois. I have been married for 30 years to Wayne and we have two boys, Maverick (26) and Scout (24). We have two furry babies, our dog Hershey, and our newest furry member of the family, Elsinore the cat. I love spending time with my family camping, snowmobiling, gardening, and huckleberry picking and we love to travel and go on adventures. I am also very involved in our community volunteering with other organizations and am passionate about kids and their education.
